Dr. Trent D. Hayes - Senior Pastor

Dr. Trent D. Hayes accepted his call to ministry in 1985 and served first as an Associate Pastor and later as the Senior Pastor in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. In 1997, he accepted the position of Senior Pastor at the Hosack Street Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio where he served for four years. In compliance with Matthew 28: 19-20 (The Great Commission) and the desire to be biblically based servants; a church plant was started in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. This new branch of Zion was named New Antioch Bible Fellowship and opened her doors in July, 2001.


Dr. Hayes earned a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore, Masters’ Degrees in Theology and Higher Education from Saint Mary’s Seminary & University and Capella University respectively, and a Doctorate Degree in Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary. 


Doctor Hayes is currently an adjunct professor in the department of Adult & Graduate Studies at Ohio Christian University in Circleville, Ohio.  He is the Founder & past President of Kingdom Agenda Enterprise (KAE); a community development corporation that is committed to empowering individuals, families, and businesses to achieve their God-ordained potential. He has also served as a distinguished member of the Missions Council for the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio, past Vice President of the Ohio – AfricanAmerican Fellowship; an affiliate of the State Convention of Baptist in Ohio, and a contributing member of the Metro Columbus Baptist Association of Ohio.


Dr. Hayes is the loving husband and best friend to his wife Mary.  They are blessed and proud parents of their son, Matthew Alexander Hayes. The Hayes’ currently reside in Pickerington, Ohio.
